Andai Aku Terbuang Tak Diterima

Image hosting by Photobucket

Warisan
Disini lahirnya sebuah cinta
Yang murni abadi sejati
Disini tersemai cita cita
Bercambah menjadi warisan

Andai ku terbuang tak diterima
Andai aku disingkirkan
Kemana harusku bawakan
Kemana harusku semaikan cinta ini

Betapa
Dibumi ini ku melangkah
Keutara selatan timur dan barat
Ku jejaki

Aku
Bukanlah seorang perwira
Gagah menjunjung senjata
Namun hati rela berjuang
Walau dengan cara sendiri
Demi cinta ini

Ku ingin kotakan seribu janji
Sepanjang kedewasaan ini
Ku ingin sampaikan pesanan
Aku lah penyambung warisan - Sudirman

Now dia ada kat Netherlands, sambung buat PhD kat sana. Kalau bercakap dengan si Rozie ni pasal orang Melayu, mesti dia cerita pasal perjuangan orang Melayu. Aku dengan dia berbeda pendapat pasal perjuangan-perjuangan nih.

Image hosting by Photobucket

Tapi itu yang aku suka. Aku suka discussion, perbincangan, pertukaran pendapat. Perjuangan Rozie lebih kepada bidang akademik. Termasuklah Puteri UMNO. Hehehehe...(mati aku kena katok ngan minah ni kalau aku citer pasal dia & Puteri UMNO nih)

Aku ada cita-cita nak jadi menteri. Nak jadi Menteri Pelajaran. Nak sepak Hishamuddin Tun Hussein keluar. Tapi selepas beberapa ketika, aku tukar cita-cita aku.

Bak kata Zidni, kita berbakti melalui menguasai ekonomi negara. Kembangkan ekonomi negara. Ambil contoh, Tony Fernandez, CEO Air Asia, Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Bukhari, Tan Sri Mustapha Kamal Abu Bakar dan banyak lagi.

Rasa puas.

Ramai-ramai Orang

Image hosting by Photobucket

There are many people come and go in my life, but to see you go is the hardest one for me

People Come & People Go
every minute and every hour
people come and people go
for when they will come back
we will never know

the only thing we can pray
is for them to stay
for how long we will never know
only until on the day they will go

people come and people go
let's pray happiness and joy they find
if someday they will know
how much we miss them fine
hopefully they will drop a line

Years ago when I was in the States, I saw my senior almost shed a tear at the airport when he sent his other half back to Manchester. Almost. Never I thought it would happen to me. At least.

But I failed. One drop of tear came out. That was it.

Well, I hope to see this person again sometimes next year. Be well there, dear!!

You Will Become Unforgettable

Image hosting by Photobucket

Unforgettable, that's what you are
Unforgettable though near or far
Like a song of love that clings to me
How the thought of you does things to me
Never before has someone been more

Unforgettable in every way
And forever more, that's how you'll stay
That's why, darling, it's incredible
That someone so unforgettable
Thinks that I am unforgettable too

No never before
has someone been more ooh

Unforgettable in every way
And forever more, that's how you'll stay
That's why, darling, it's incredible
That someone so unforgettable
Thinks that I am unforgettable too
by Nat King Cole

Today my heart sings this song. It somehow brings some joy and yet, a stint of bitterness and melancholy deep in my heart. Believe me, for everyone who passes in my life, you are unforgettable. Truly.

Belasungkawa Buat Kak Chom

Image hosting by Photobucket

Andaikata waktu mereka sudah tamat di atas muka bumi ini, tiada lagi 'the right time', tiada lagi 'quality time'. Yang ada hanya 'time-out'.

Al Fatihah buat arwah Kak Chom.

Something Personal

In pursuing something big for yourself, you have to be square with who ever is in your way. Does it have to be that way? Do we have to be that stiff with our emotions because we want to achieve our goals so bad?

I know because I did that. And I did that to my mom.

Last week I had a fight with her. It wasn't like we had kungfu or karate kumite in the house. It was just an emotional argument happened at 3 am. I was tired coming home from our weekly business meeting. Yeah, I have a weekly meeting on Tuesday about our business project. It so happened that night the guard lost my driving license. Those guards should be shot to death. So I thought.

I felt very irritated when my mom asked me many questions. For God's sake it's 3 o'clock in the morning. The questions were meant to make me even more irritated. I tried to shut my mouth because I just wanted to go to bed. It had been a long day for me. But the pressure kept coming on. Finally I couldn't bear the pressure building up in myself and I burst them out through my damn mouth. Yeah..I made my mom cried. Worst, I cried too because I made my mom cried. I felt very frustrated.

I felt frustrated because nobody in the house appreciates of what I am doing now. Nobody gives me the support I need to pursue my dreams. My mother treated me like I'm 6 year-old kid with a body of 26 year-old man.

Now I feel more determined than ever. I want to prove that I will finish whatever I have started. But first thing first, I need to figure out how to get myself out from the house without burdening myself and others.

Cocky & Funny, Oh Really???

A guy goes to the U.S. Post Office to apply for a job. The interviewer asks him, "have you been in the service?"

"Yes," he says, "I was in Vietnam for three years."

The interviewer says, "That will give you extra points toward employment." and then asks, "Are you disabled in any way?"

The guy says, "Yes, 100%... a mortar round exploded near me and blew my testicles off."

The interviewer tells the guy, "O.K. I can hire you right now. The Hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. You can start tomorrow. Come in at 10:00 A.M."

The guy is puzzled and says, "If the hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. then why do you want me to come in at 10:00 A.M.?"

"This is a government job," the interviewer says. "For the first two hours we stand around scratching our balls... no point in you coming in for that."

There you go!! A joke about the government services. It doesn't happen only in USPS though. It also happens here right in front of our very nose. The thing is, I wonder how hard the people in Prime Minister's office act not to be slow. Or maybe buat buat laju.

Last advice for today, saving won't make you rich but it only prevents you from becoming poor. Saving & invest are definitely the right steps toward achieving your financial goals. Take care everyone!

Peluang Membantu Rakan-rakan

Hati manusia selalu terdetik, apa agaknya yang dia nak kalau dia nak tolong aku? We always become suspicious when someone approaches and says he/she wants to help us. Why do we behave that way? It is because we feel obscure. Plus, we feel fear because we don't know what he/she has to offer. Frankly. Period.

Hey, it's nothing wrong with you guys. Really..nothing wrong. It's human nature but don't let the nature succumbs you to its mediocrity. You can do better than that.

I once attended an introduction meeting for Amway business. I may not like the product but I certainly like the way they handle the audience. They captivated my attention, they aroused my curiosity and they charmed me with their wits and humour. I tell you what, that's the kind of trigger I would like to have to entertain you. Yes you..the reader of my blog. If there is any out there!

HOWEVER, this is not an Amway business introduction. This is just a plain help.

Zig Ziglar once said in his book, "See You At The Top", "If you help enough people to achieve their goals, eventually they will help you to achieve your goals". I seriously believe in that. I think an American would say this, "I scratch your back, you scratch mine". Melayu might say, "Ko garu kurap aku, aku garu kurap ko, ok bro?".

Arghhhhhh..sangat gross cam cilake!!

Errrr..don't you think it's too long to be an introduction to what I'm going to say next? Yeahh..I feel you babe...I feel you..it's too long. It's okay.

Tomorrow I will write something about securing the future. But before I leave you guys today, there is one note I like you to remember.

You always want a miracle to happen to you...but before miracle happens to you...be the miracle! Spread the miracles..and truly...you will have the miracles in your life!!

Sheik Yousuf Al-Qaradhawi: The Islamic Nation's Problem is That Muslims Do Not Work. The Zionist Gang Has Turned the Desert into an Oasis

The following are excerpts from a friday sermon on Qatar TV by Sheik Yousuf Al-Qaradhawi

Dr. Yousuf Al-Qaradhawi: We use trains and planes, but they are not our trains or planes. The (Westerners) manufacture them and export them to us. True, we can buy the most magnificent things in the world products for our homes and for ourselves. Our people can buy the most luxurious cars, Rolls-Royce or Mercedes 500 or 700, models S, M, and L with all the luxuries. We own them, but we don't manufacture them. We don't even produce a single nail in any of these cars. Others do this for us.
The income of the entire Arab world, including the oil-producing countries, does not reach the that of a European country, such as Spain. Spain – let alone Germany, France, Britain, or Italy. Just Spain, which is at the bottom of the list of industrial countries... The income of the entire Arab world does not reach it. How come? Because we don't work, and if we do work, we don't do it professionally.

They conducted a survey of the average time that a government employee spends working in a certain Arab country. The average was 27 minutes a day. 27 minutes! The rest of the time he drinks coffee, reads newspapers, and goes on errands here and there. Only a small number of people work. The rest do not.

In the mid 1970s I went to Germany. We arrived during in the morning. I asked the guy who took me from the airport to the convention hall… As I was passing through the empty streets, I asked him how come the streets were not busy, like in our countries. He said: "People are at work." After 7 p.m. he took me back to the hotel, and the streets were empty. I said to him: "What's going on, the streets are empty again." He said: people are back home from work, and they are exhausted. All they want is to eat their dinner, watch the news, and then go to bed, because early next morning they have to wake up for hard work. They commute more than an hour to work and back, and spend an hour at lunch. They work non-stop.

We are a nation that doesn't work. How can we develop if we don't work? When we do work, we don't do it professionally. We keep saying "Don't worry, later, later…" Islam teaches us to do things professionally. Doing things professionally is a religious duty. The Prophet said that Allah ordered to excel in everyhting. He imposed excellence and professionalism. Professionalism must be followed in everything. "If you kill, do it properly, and if you slaughter, do it properly." Even when killing, you must do well.

Unfortunately, we do not excel in either military or civil industries. We import everything from needles to missiles. This is our nation. We still haven't manufactured an engine in our Arab countries. We assemble parts, but have no manufacturing industries. India has manufactured a car, and even a plane, while we still go around in circles like a bull in who turns a grinding mill or a water weal until it reaches exactly where it started.

How come the Zionist gang has managed to be superior to us, despite being so few? It has become superior through knowledge, through technology, and through strength. It has become superior to us through work. We had the desert before our eyes but we didn't do anything with it. When they took over, they turned it into a green oasis. How can a nation that does not work progress? How can it grow?

Kita Berkumpul Kembali

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Semalam kami kena paksa menyanyi lagu Alam Shah Jaya selepas kenduri kahwin Zamin. As usual la Zamin as Kapten Sekolah...so dia la kena jerit "Alam Shah, Alam Shah Sedia!".

I had a good time last night sebab dapat berjumpa dengan ramai kawan Alam Shah. Ada juga terjumpa dengan junior. Not to mention, dapat jumpa kawan-kawan yang lain.

Disebabkan nama bapak yang sama, therefore kalau nak mengutuk pun kena guna nama datuk. Sampai semalam pun masih lagi terbawa-bawa perangai buruk tu ke Dewan Perdana. Kelakar...serius!

Tu gambar aku dengan Shooke. Now dia dah jadi doktor, sama macam cita-cita dia dulu.
