Tadi aku ada appointment dengan kawan baik aku sejak dari sekolah dulu. Aku handle investment EPF dia dalam Public Mutual. Anyway, that's not the case. I told him that I dreamed about Camy again last two nights ago. I clearly saw her face in my dream. This time, she's a bit chubby. Just a little bit. I don't know what does the dream mean. It could be just ... dream. He concurred with that idea.
Anyway, last weekend I brought my good friend to have teh tarik session with CEO of SKALI. SKALI is an IT firm which boasts an authorized capital of RM 40 million. However, the CEO of this holding company is very simple and down-to-earth kind of person. I got to know him through his book, SKALI Lagi and I obtained his cellphone number from Tengku Zafrul, CEO of TuneMoney.com.
We hung out at warung mamak last weekend, just to get to know each other and sharing stories about his successful journey to become entrepreneur. From the way he dressed himself with a pair of worn out jeans and simple t shirt, clearly gave me a sign that he is a cool guy.
I must say, being a Kelantanese definitely gives me an advantage in doing connection with many successful people. We quickly acquainted because apparently, his kampung is very much closer to my kampung in Kelantan. Oh well, what a coincidence!
I learned many new ideas from him and a few episodes of his life inspired us to walk his footsteps. He reminded us about our youth. He said, "this is the period where you do a lot of mistakes". "In fact, you have to do many mistakes before you become successful. Money is not the motivation. It is purely about adventure and being challenges seeker".
Perhaps one day I will be like him. In fact, I want to be like him. Rich and wealthy are just the consequences of being persistence, perseverance and sincere in creating results in life. Although he is very much successful professionally, he is also doing well in his personal life. He has two kids when he started venturing into IT business some 10 years ago, and now he has five kids. Unlike Tengku Zafrul, who is very much successful in his career, securing RM 1 million in bank account by the age of 28 and continue to make more millions now but a bit slack in personal life.
So I told to myself - I'm suck at relationship, so I might as well be very good in designing my career and be successful at it. Hopefully one day I will be millionaire. Oh no, I will make sure that I'll be millionaire by the age of 35. Hurmm...being a millionaire at the age of 35 and lonely? Oh well, I'm sure by that time I have lots of things to do and forget about the fact that I were single. Hahahaha..
Sambal tumis ikan bilis masakan ibu jadi kegemaran aku. Masakannya biasa-biasa tapi rasanya hebat. Sama seperti cita-cita aku. Kisah-kisah aku. Rindu dan sayang aku. Aku rindu mummy.

The Election and UMNO
The election is coming up soon. It is inevitable that many Malaysians out there would determine which political parties to be the ruling party after this GE ends in the next four weeks. Honestly, I don't give a shit of who's winning the election. In my mind, it has been UMNO and always been UMNO.
However, it doesn't mean that I endorse the UMNO party to be the ruling party. I know it would win the GE simply because it has been that way for many decades. People are very much afraid to try something new. People would complaint, bitching endlessly about the price hike for petrols, groceries items, etc and yet when the time to make change has dawned upon them - they shy away. The people obediently 'kowtow' to the UMNO and its BN coalitions. And then the people will continue their pattern of bitching, whining and complaining how the ruling party is ruining the country through rampant corruption, cronism and whatever 'eism' that they can use.
So the real losers are the people. The real suckers are the people. Serve them right! They should accept the aftermath reality with an open heart.
Hey, look at the real scenario. How many citizens do we have in M'sia? Approximately 27 million people. But how many people who are actually deciding who will run this country? Only 3 million of UMNO members. Surprise yah?
Whoever gets to be elected as the President of UMNO is automatically appointed as the Prime Minister of M'sia. WOw, what a convenient way to elect the Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia. I bet the US Presidential Election is way complicated for Malaysians to elect their own PM. So let the UMNO members do the job so then we can 'cuci tangan' lah. Hurmmm...I prefer to cuci mata than cuci tangan.
Anyway, we've got a period of about 3 weeks to decide, who will be running the country in the next 5 years. So far, we are clear about who or which party that causes price hike for groceries items, rampant corruptions throughout government machineries, endless toll collection almost every road in M'sia, no minimum wages for employees etc. Are we still sticking to the old and exhausted coalition party? Truly if we keep repeating the same pattern, we shall always get the same result for eternity.
Or maybe we want to slightly change the strategy by choosing different party and hoping we shall get the different result? After all, if this new and different ruling party fucks up during 5 year service to the rakyat, we can always revert back to our beloved Barisan Nasional. I'm sure Khairy Jamaluddin would love to lead the 4th Level boys into the new cabinet in 2012.
By the way, I tossed my old 'dacing' for having a brand new digital weighing machine. Much rugged, much powerful and of course, work as it should be.

A short entry before I sleep
Nothing much to update. Actually, I've got tons of things to write but I'm just being plain lazy here. By the way, the general election is coming up soon (psst..I heard it is scheduled on 8/3/2007). So, please get ready. (I am more interested on US Presidential Election than our own 'messed-up' and 'rigged' election).
Oh yeah, I just attended the Mastery course in Asiaworks. Good stuffs. I learned a lot and I want to apply whatever I learned there in my life. Life has so much to celebrate..why must sweat over small stuffs, ay?
