In A Good Company



The last time I met my very good friends, my confidantes and sometimes spiritual advisors, was in 2003. At that time, Aida was still pregnant with her first child, Amni. And Aini, still waiting for her turn to have baby.

But yesterday, almost 2 years of absence in physical form and yet we are always close in thought and prayer, we finally met at my house together with their children and their other half, except for Aini. Her husband was out station in Kuantan.



I was extremely happy to meet them. But I must say that I was ill-prepared to receive them at my humble house. Quite honestly, my house had never been visited by my friends since I was in secondary. Perhaps I was too embarrass to show my house to my friends.



Anyway, we all had good time yesterday. Aida, Firdaus (Aida's husband) and Aini seemed to be enjoying themselves with mee goreng and longan's cold drink. Amni and Auni delighted themselves after getting some Hershey's Chocolate Kiss, specially brought from Pennsylvania, US, for them. Hehehehe...habis comot muka Amni menyental cokelat!!

The coolest thing about their children is that none of them gave much trouble when I tried to hold them. They didn't act fussy when my parents took them from their parents. Fawwaz even slept on my mom's lap. He slept peacefully until his 'milk hour'.



"Pakcik, tu gambar pakcik ek masa muda? Hensem lah pakcik!"

The most memorably thing was when Firdaus compliment my dad, about his look when he was young. I swear to God that nobody, I mean literally, nobody praised him like that. Right in front of him. I guess that what made him smile till the night, kot??!

Insya Allah next time when I have some free time, I do want to stop by at Aini's place. This time with Caza and another friend of ours, Suzen. Nanti nak suruh Aini masak sedap-sedap lah untuk kitorang...hehehehe!
