"Saya berharap pelajar berhati-hati.

My Comment
I wonder why every time there are bad students in the campus, they will automatically be related to opposition party, instead of making an objective analysis of who's who and what's what in campus. I clearly understand from the speech above, the TNC above was insidiously persuade students to believe that all the non "pro-aspirasi" people are bad in attitude especially towards academic. C'mon dude, the pro-aspirasi is no less better than the rest of us (in fact, "pro aspirasi" used dirty money tactics in UIA to persuade the constituents to vote for them for MPP position, isn't that bad enough for everyone to teach money politic from early stage?). For me, both groups are equally the same when it comes to academic achievement; some are bad and some are good. To automatically label one group as total bad won't do any good to anyone.
I wasn't quite surprised to see such statement made by this particular Deputy Vice Chancellor. There are many reasons to support my claim.
Well, one of them is because most of TNC are more focus on to secure their seat instead of really taking care of students' welfare. Call me a bias or anti establishment follower. I don't mind at all. It has become a public secret to see that every time TNC disagrees with the mainstream political party either in his own words or actions, he will be vanquished from the administration as soon as possible.
Besides, what's wrong to have different opinion from the rest? Doesn't that make you unique compare to the rest, who just happen to conform with what has been going on for decades or maybe for centuries? Sometimes the paradigm needs a change and usually the inertia to change is fiercely against by the conformist because they are comfortable living in their comfort. As long nothing bad happens to them.
I seriously applause this anti-establishment group because they dare to say something is wrong in this community. I've seen many complaints frmo various groups of students in local higher education institution in many issues, ranging from the public transportation at campus up till the failure of our judiciary system. C'mon, until when do you want to treat students like we are infants or toddlers? If you don't give us chance to grow and to make mistakes, when will we learn how to survive in the real world outside there?
Geezuzzz people! Grow up! Why must we apply different standard to college students just because we have this label "college students" on our forehead? As far as I know from my general knowledge about the governance, our rights are guaranteed under the same constitution that put most of the politicians at thei respective offices now. Even, when PAS is loudly campaigning for its Islamic State document, these very same people lamented PAS as anti-constitution. But by denying the students' rights under the same constitution, they are just sipping their own spit. They are no less worse than PAS itself (if PAS truly worse political party).
Under the constitution, every citizen has his right to choose his own ideology or political preference doesn't matter his age is. More importantly, every regulations are automatically nullified if they contradict with the constitution. For anyone who is 21 and above, we can freely dictate our own choice without having anyone to tell us, who to choose and what to choose. If we make mistake, we can always rectify it although it may take years to remedy the mistakes. So what? At least we dare to change for the betterment of our surrounding community, we dare to move on to something we believe in full conviction. Unlike others who don't care about anything except for their own rice pot.
Choosing to believe in opposition is nothing wrong. Choosing to believe in so-called 'pro-aspirasi" group is also nothing wrong. But when you tell someone to choose this instead of that and telling them that their choice is wrong, you're a big asshole! Not to mention stuck up too.
