Ada kalanya ku merasa hidup ini seperti kaca
Jikalau tidak bersabar
Hancur berderailah akhirnya
Tabahkanlah hatiku
Melalui semua itu... Ooh...
Kuatkanlah
Cekalkanlah diriku - Ku Mohon, Sheila Majid
Hmm..the song moves me. It moves me in a way that we all, once a while, will fall out to our cribs and silently pray to ask for things from Him. I believe if we sincerely enough asking something meaningful for us, He will definitely grant our wishes. I've been in a real disastrous situations before and lessons taught me to come clean to Him and sought His help. He didn't turn me down. Never once. I am a strong believer that He educates us through experiences. Problems are given not as mere coincidents but they serve as lessons in disguise. A modicum of humility and wisdow would slowly add on after each memorable experience. That is what I call a process of acquiring maturity.
Anyway, the picture above of Sheila Majid was taken in Hard Rock Cafe last Friday night. Yes, I visited HRC with an old friend from SAS. He took the photo. I rarely go to the place which serves liqour but this one, I cannot resist because of live music it offers. Besides, I know where to draw my line when it comes to entertainment.
We both seriously enjoyed the entertainment that night. Partly because of the presences of good singers, particularly Sheila Majid. And for my friend, he was busy snapping photos of celebrities and mortals in HRC (he probably should turn to paparazzi profession). Whenever I found any good song, I would definitely sing it along. I also enjoyed a stint of conversation with Sarimah and thank her for the reply in email. Didn't forget to congratulate the producer for doing sucha good job at delivering the program (everyone should deserve a warm smile and encouragement wishes after doing a tough job, I think).
Later as we both walked out from HRC, we managed to hang out a bit with NTV7 staffs. I had the opportunity to talk to the director of the program. Learnt a lot about live broadcasting. Never I know the cost to own an OBU (Out station Broadcasting Unit) is nearly RM 10 million. Definitely I was amazed by the explanation of Mr. Abu Bakar, director of Konsert Prelude AIM13. My friend, he was busy capturing the 'kodak moments' of NTV7 staffs packing the OBU.
I only came home after 12.30 am.
